Iowa Principles and Practices for Charitable Nonprofit Excellence

This edition, updated in 2011, clarifies management practices, ethical conduct, and public accountability. A valuable resource for charitable organizations, the guidelines help Iowa nonprofits improve their ability to provide services. The Principles and Practices are the product of an effort by the Governor's Nonprofit Task Force which was formed in 2004 by then-governor Thomas Vilsack and chaired by Dr. Willard "Sandy" Boyd.
