The AmeriCorps member will work with food bank staff, member agencies, hunger-relief advocates and local community groups. The goal of the project is to build new awareness of
food insecurity, develop programs to combat hunger, and recruit new donors and volunteers to address the issue now and in the future.

AmeriCorps is an National Service Program which engages more than 75,000 Americans in intensive service each year at nonprofits, schools, public agencies, and community and faith-based groups across the country.
