College Changes Everything!

The United Way of Wapello County announced in August the partnership between numerous community organizations around the Cradle, College, Career Initiative. On October 20th, the Ottumwa community came together to learn more about this initiative at the College Changes Everything Summit at Bridgeview Center. Experts presented on a number of topics to help the public learn more about what we can do as a community to increase college access for everyone.

Day of Caring 2016 a success!

Thank you United Way Day of Caring volunteers!

We had over 130 volunteers participate in the annual Day of Caring this year. That makes this year our largest Day of Caring yet! Volunteers worked on a number of projects like building garden beds, helping at child care centers, painting and sorting food donations.
